How do I get an account as an employee?

Please click on the Employee tab on the homepage of the Enterprise Education Portal and click Request a Login.

 

How do I get an account as a partner?

Please go to partnergateway.motorola.com for further information on requesting a login

 

How do I get an account as a customer?

Please click on the customer/end user link and click the request a login link to create an account.  Your account will be activated within 2 business days, and you will receive notification via e-mail upon activation.

 

I requested an account, and it is not yet activated, what is wrong?

Your account has not been activated as it is under review with our internal personnel.
(There may be a delay in activation and may take up to 5 business days.)

 

How do I find out if I am certified?

Go to my learning plan à Certifications link on the top of the page. This will list all your certifications that have a status of enrolled, in progress, and expired.

 

Why is my certification not showing up in my certifications part of my learning plan?

Please ensure that all portions of the certifications are passed and completed in the same instance of your enrollment.

Other potential reasons include:

    • Failing an exam
    • Not meet all the requirements for the certification
    • Not enrolled into the certification
    • Not enrolled into the learning activity
    • Instructor Led class has not yet been completed or closed (Please allow 7 business days for class to be properly closed/completed.)

Why are my certifications not showing up in the Partner Gateway?

Your account is not associated with your company. Please contact your company’s Partner Gateway administrator.


Why am I seeing a white screen when I launch a course or exam?

Please update your Java and Flash Player, if your company doesn’t allow this update please contact your local helpdesk for assistance. 
Disable pop-up blockers and ensure you are using IE6 as IE7 is not yet supported. No other internet browsers are supported.

 

What are the requirements for this certification?

Check the course description for this information it will list the required, recommended and pre-requisite activities.

 

What is a learning activity?

It is an item that can be referred to by a course code. (i.e. exam, course, webinar, instructor led, online , etc….)

 

What is a Blended activity?

It is a learning activity with a course code with one or more required and/or recommended learning activities using any modality in our system.

 

What is a course code?

A course code is an alpha-numeric value given to represent a learning activity. For a course or exam, this code represents the creator, subject, modality and audience.

 

When is the next class on ______?

Please consult our course schedule.

 

How can I find out if my partner is certified in a particular product?

Please consult the partner gateway for official partner certification status. For individual student account questions e-mail MotorolaEnterpriseEDU@motorola.com.

 

Do you have any courses on ______?

Please use the search options on the top right hand side of the Motorola Enterprise Education Portal. Courses can be found by subject on the left navigation bar of the Motorola Enterprise Education homepage.

 

How much does online training cost?

Please consult the course description for pricing information for each course.

 

How much does instructor-led training cost?

Instructor led training is generally $1000 USD  per day, per student.
Please see the course description of the course you are interested in for more details.

 

How soon before a class can I cancel my enrolment?

10 business days prior to the scheduled start date, refunds will not be processed if cancellation is done after this point.

 

How soon before a class can I enroll?

You may enroll in a class as soon as it becomes available in the system.

 

Can I have a custom on-site course for my company at our location(s)?

Yes, please e-mail mwj683@motorola.com.

 

Do I get credit for custom on-site courses or other Instructor Led Training?

Yes, if you are registering on mee.motorola.com you will get credits toward your Learning Plan.

 

Why can’t I enroll again?

If you have failed or completed an exam 6 times, you may receive an error when you try to enroll again. The system does this to prevent the exam from being compromised. Please contact MotorolaEnterpriseEDU@motorola.com to open a ticket to clear your old records if you would like to continue.

 

I’m certified in X, does that mean I am certified in Y?

The requirements for each certification are listed in the learning activity and show what other learning activities are required and recommended for that blended activity.

 

I tried to enroll in a course, but it gave me an error, why is that?

Your account may not be properly set up to enroll in the learning activity. Please contact MotorolaEnterpriseEDU@motorola.com.

 

Why am I not receiving any emails from the system?

You should be receiving automatic emails upon your interactions with the system for enrolling, passing, failing, unenrolling, etc. Please log into your account and update your email by going to the Personal Information tab on the left.

 

Who can I contact if I need more information on my certification status?

Please contact your account manager.

 

How long does it take my certifications in the Enterprise Education portal to show up on the PartnerSelect Gateway?

Individual Certification records are updated each night to the PartnerSelect Gateway. Your company’s entire certification status is updated monthly.

 

I’d like to create a course, who can I contact?

Please use the course request form.

 

I used to work at company X and now I am at company Y, can I transfer my certifications?

Yes, please contact your company’s Partner Gateway administrator to have them work with the Partner Gateway team to update your contact information and link your account to your new company.


I used to work at company X and now I am not there anymore, can I update my account?

We will confirmation from you and your company that you are no longer at that company. Your account will change into a Customer/End User account.

 

How do I become a Motorola Partner?

Please go to motorola.com/PartnerSelect to find out more about partnering with Motorola.

 

Who are the instructors?

There are Motorola Enterprise Education instructors who are involved in the development of both the online and instructor-led courses, as well as the delivery. Other instructors may also join the Motorola Certified Instructor program to deliver the training.

 

How can I become a Certified Motorola Instructor?

What do I need on my computer in order to run the online training?

To access and use the Motorola Enterprise Education Portal catalog and online courseware, your system must meet the following minimum recommended requirements:

  • Windows 2000 operating system, or higher
  • Internet Explorer 6.0 (recommended) or higher
  • 16 bit color or higher
  • Intel (or equivalent) processor running at 1.6 GHz, or higher
  • Internet connection at 6 mbps, or higher

 

What if my company won’t let me update my computer with a new plug-in?

Please speak with your IT administrator. The Motorola Enterprise Education Portal is also available 24x7 from any available internet connection.

 

Why do I need to be certified in a particular product?

IIn order to buy and sell some Motorola products, we encourage our partners to have a good foundation of knowledge before passing on our messaging and technical information.

 

Did I meet all the requirements to be certified in a particular product?

Please view the course description for the certification to see what the required and recommended learning activities are for that blended activity. It will show what you have completed at the bottom of the screen. This information is also visible in your Learning Plan.

 

Do I get anything for having a certain number of certifications?

As a member of PartnerSelect, your company’s compliance status relies on your platform certifications, as well as your ability to buy/sell different products where Product Certification is required.
