PBN Product Sales Certification

Description:
The PBN Product Sales Certification online course covers the T2 and T3 PowerBroadband products from Motorola’s Private Broadband Networks group. The T2 solution, uses an “Ethernet-only” WallPlate in each guest room and the T3 solution uses a similar Ethernet WallPlate but also has a built in wireless access point. Both WallPlates are connected to a PowerBroadband switch which is installed in the property’s phone closet and can support up to 25 units. Each switch has two GigE Ethernet uplink ports for backhaul to the network. The T2 was designed to offer a secure, uncluttered Ethernet connection in every guest room.
The PBN Product Sales Certification consists of an online course and a required online exam.

Description:
The T3 is Motorola’s newest Hospitality product. The predecessor is the T2 product, which has many of the same features as T3, but does not have support for the wireless MC-802 CPEs. The PBN Product Technical Certification online course is designed to help potential Partners understand the important aspects of the T3 product installation. It does not go into detail on all features, but tries to focus more on overall system capabilities and critical installation aspects. Any customer that is new to T3 should order an evaluation system prior to installation so they can be properly prepared for the install. The user guides can be obtained through Technical Support, once the product has been purchased. Technical Support contact information is provided at the end of the course.
